This kind of problem is sometimes due to a loss in intensity for beams that are distant from the minimum beam

waist. A greater exposure time can often overcome this problem, but will affect the intensity of your beams

around the minimum beam waist.

Another way to overcome this problem is to measure the M

effect on a smaller region around the minimum

beam waist position. To do that, a focal lens with a smaller focal length can be used. The laser will be more

focalized and the measured region will be closer to the same range of intensity. That will help to prevent losing

beam precision measurement at the left and right extremities of the sensor.

Another way to overcome this problem is to reduce the distance between the Fabry-Perot optics to cover a

smaller region of the beam waist. To do that, the Z-ADJ screw must be used to reduce the distance between

each beam, and then, the Y-ADJ screw must be used to separate the beams again.

If both of these solutions do not resolve the problem, changing the lens by one with a smaller focal length could

resolve the problem.

4.12.1. With “Moving stage calibration” mode

This is probably due to a second calibration measure that is greater than the first one. Please verify that, in the

Calibration panel, the first measure is greater than the second one, like in this example:
